See the latest additions to the National Plastic Quilt Project. 18 artists from around the country made 24 brilliantly designed squares. Squares from the previous exhibits will also be on display. Show will be up at Pie Footwear thru January.

Leave No Plastic Behind presents art exhibits and creative events year round to raise consciousness about the damaging effects of single-use plastic and motivate folks to reduce and reuse. LNPB is activated by how much plastic travels from land to the ocean (google pacific garbage patch) and the fact that we can be smarter and healthier without so many single use “conveniences” in the world.

Gift Wrapping at Pie Footwear to Benefit Vernon School

Pie Footwear will be hosting a holiday Gift Wrapping station in-store that will benefit Vernon School next Thursday 12/17 from 5-7 PM. So bring in your unwrapped gifts or buy a gift to be wrapped. We will have hot cocoa & cider provided by Fuel Cafe. Let someone else do your holiday gift wrapping this season and support your local school!

Join us for our holiday celebration on Thursday, December 17th from 5-7 PM as we enjoy entertainment from Electric Light Orchestra around the holiday tree at the Alberta Co-op (15th & Alberta).

Stores are open late for holiday shopping ease, cocoa and cider will be served warm to keep you fueled. Visit one of our 2 gift wrapping stations that benefit Vernon School at Real Deals and Pie Footwear.

Make sure to come down to Alberta Street to place and take an ornament from our community tree. Leave a note about yourself to be a part of the Alberta uniqueness at the holiday's. Tree location at Alberta Co-op and Victory Outreach Tree Lot.
